Tute Bwabi/Cassava Tubers

 

Ingredients

  •  5 Tubers dry cassava
  • Salt
  • 1/2 Cup water

Preparation

  1. Place dry cassava in water for 24 hrs.
  2. After 24 hrs the the cassava should be soft enough to break in half and drain the water.
  3. Place the cassava on the pan.
  4. Ensure that the heat on stove is not too much because it will burn the cassava
  5. Turn the cassava giving it equal minutes on all side so that its cooked through (rotating sides)
  6. Once the cassava chars it is ready to set aside.
  7. Enjoy paired with Roasted Imbalala.

  • Prep time:  5 minutes
  • Cook time: 10 minutes
