Pounded ground nuts, also known as pounded imbalala are a Zambian ingredient that can used in cooking. They are often used to make groundnut soup, or to cook with the vegetable lumanda. Lumanda is a unique Zambian vegetable that can be cooked with groundnuts for a mild taste, or with tomatoes, onion, and cooking oil for a sour taste.
